In a year where Winter never truly arrived and the Spring seemed short, Summer certainly has arrived with a bang (and the heat).

The 2023 weather decided to be rainy and cool limiting the boating time lots of you could enjoy. I believe, and so far I’m right, that 2024 will be just the opposite, hot and dry. We’re off to a good start on the year, nearly all of the 800+ boats we winterized and stored are in the water, the 4th of July is right around the corner and our boat sales have been very solid. Last year was an odd year in the boat business, full of surprises both good and not so good but so far 2024 sales of new and preowned boats have been pleasantly brisk. Nationwide sales are still a little sluggish but for us at Owasco Marine the waters are calm and the breeze is at our backs. Softer sales Nationwide means the Manufacturers are offering some incentives to move out the product, our inventory has stablized at a good level and boat prices have stopped climbing. Add all of this up and it means this is a good year to consider that new or preowned boat for the family this summer. Our indoor showroom is set up with lots of new Benningtons, Crestliners, Four Winns and Wellcrafts, all with Incentive $ and a motivated seller (Me).
